Purcell Helicopter Skiing has been offering snow enthusiasts the ultimate powder skiing adventure since 1973. As a small company with over 30 years of experience, they are dedicated to providing guests with the highest quality of service. Rather than encouraging vertical records, their aim is to offer a thrilling but comfortable skiing/ boarding adventure at a relaxed pace. Since emigrating to Golden from Switzerland 40 years ago, Purcell's owner, Rudi Gertsch, has been leading visitors through the mountains of western Canada. As a mountain guide, Rudi and his business, Purcell Helicopter Skiing Ltd, have prospered in the former CPR base camp, taking skiers from all over the world to the pristine summits and snow fields of the Purcell Mountains.
