Powder Hound Express

As its name implies: the hunt for powder! Ski or ride four of the best ski areas of the Rockies, Purcell, Kootenay, Selkirk, and Monashee mountain ranges with our expert guide at your side. Designed for advanced skiers and riders (you don't have to be an "expert"), this tour also offers the option to heli-ski and/or cat-ski for a day. Experience the most famous powder stashes and authentic ski towns of the Rockies and Revelstoke!

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Calgary - Banff

Upon arrival at Calgary airport, you will be met and welcomed by our guide. We suggest arriving between 2 pm and 4 pm. Travelling west through the foothills, we will have our sights on the Rockies towering up in the distance. We'll arrive in Banff within an hour and a half, the mountain town at the heart of Banff National Park. Once checked-in the mountain-style hotel, we will reconvene for a quick briefing over some beers and wings. The guide will go over the itinerary and address any specific needs or concerns. If rentals are required, this will be arranged with the help of the guide.Overnight in Banff.

Day 2 Ski/Snowboard Sunshine Village

After breakfast, we will head out to Sunshine Village, famous for its quantity of all-natural snow (no man-made stuff here!), whose Delirium Dive, is considered one of the best steeps in North America. The guide will accompany the group and distribute radios in the case that the group slits up. In the evening, we encourage taking part in a pub crawl in Banff. Overnight in Banff.

Day 3 Ski/Snowboard Lake Louise

Today we'll head to Lake Louise, the largest ski area of the Rockies and host to the World Cup every November. After a full day of skiing and riding the back bowls, we'll visit world-famous Lake Louise. This evening, we'll have the chance to dine at one of the many excellent restaurants in the village. Day 4 Ski/Snowboard Lake Louise or Sunshine Village

Today we can choose between Lake Louise and Sunshine depending on where the best snow is to be had. Another opportunity to experience the great quality of snow and the steeps these areas have to offer. Overnight in Lake Louise.

Day 5 Ski/Snowboard Kicking Horse

After an early check-out and breakfast, we'll continue our journey west to the town of Golden, British Columbia, passing through impressive Yoho National Park. We have the day to explore the relatively new Kicking Horse Resort. Boasting the greatest vertical in the Rockies (1,260 m) and famous for its "champagne" powder, this ski area offers an unlimited number of lines in one of three massive, alpine bowls. Tonight we can relax in our remote lodge's outdoor hottub before samping one of the local dining venues. Overnight in Golden.

Day 6 Ski/Snowboard Kicking Horse

This second day at Kicking Horse will leave our knees begging for mercy but feeling more than complete! This evening we will explore the nightlife of the authentic town of Golden, "Town of Opportunity".

Day 7 Free day Golden

We have programed this day allow various options (suplements): an additional day in Kicking Horse, a day of heli-skiing with Purcell Helicopter Skiing, or a powder snowmobiling excursion. In the late afternoon, we will head further west towards the town of Revelstoke. Overnight in Revelstoke.

Day 8 Ski/Snowboard Revelstoke

We'll show you the best of the new and exciting Revelstoke Mountain Resort with its hidden powder stashes. Revelstoke is renowned for its HUGE seasonal snow accumulations. In the eveving we'll explore this quaint, sleepy town turned ski mecca. Pub Crawl. Overnight in Revelstoke..

Day 9 Ski/Snowboard Revelstoke (Option to Cat-ski)

Today we'll enjoy a second day of skiing and riding at Revelstoke. For those seeking that extra virgin, there is the option to substitute for a day of cat-skiing directly from the resort (suplement). Tonight we'll join together for our last dinner as a group. Overnight in Revelstoke. .

Day 10 Departure Calgary

After check-out and breakfast, we'll hit the road early to make our way back to Calgary. Flight depoarture from 2 pm onward. Until next time!
