Powder Cowboy - Packages & pricing

NOTICE: Powder Cowboy will be closed for the 2010-11 season.

Powder Cowboy offers 3 or 4 day tours with one 2 day tour over the New Years period. Of course, 7 days is always an option as well!

Tours start with arrival at aprox 6 pm at the Ranch on the start day followed by dinner at 6:30 pm. Skiing/boarding days start with a short ride to cat pick-up area at aprox 8:30 am and end at aprox 4:30 pm back at thr ranch. Generally a day consists of 8 - 12 runs, between 2,900 - 3,500 vertical metres (10,000 - 12,000 vertical feet), depending on level of each group. Tours end after skiing/riding on the last day. Check-out at 5 pm.

Powder Cowboy operates 2 pisten Bully cats with 2 guides and up to 12 guests in each cat/group.

It is strongly suggested to spend at least one day beforehand warming up with some resort skiing at Fernie Alpine Resort or in the Rockies (Sunshine, Lake Louise, Golden). Depending on the time that you have we can suggest possible itineraries, starting and ending at the Calgary airport.

All packages include:

• Accommodation at the Bull River Ranch in cabins or chalets
• All meals
• Use of hot tubs, sauna
• Free use of powder skis and poles and transceiver (no boots or snowboards)

Packages do not include:

• Alcoholic beverages
• Massage Therapy
• Gratuities
• Goods and Service Taxes (GST) of 5% (for residents) and 2.5% (non-residents)
