Fernie Wilderness Adventures

Fernie Wilderness Adventures operates out of a lodge 20 minutes from the town of Fernie. It offers the option of a day of cat-skiing for those skiing and riding at Fernie Resort. The cat-ski terrain is predominately gladded tree skiing, with occasional tree bands leading into open chutes suitable for advanced intermediate to advanced type skier. Depending on the group and conditions of the day, you can expect to get 8 - 10 runs, which is approximately 2,900 - 3,500 vertical metres (10,000 - 12,000 vertical feet) for the day. Each of the 3 cats are fully heated and hold up to 12 guests.
