Cat-ski/snowboard

A similar concept to heli-skiing where the difference lies in the mode of transportation up to the top! In this case, a snow-cat machine (yes, like the ones that groom the runs) takes you up, albeit a little more slowly, but comfortably inside a cabin mounted on the back of the "cat". Often we take advantage of the ride up to eat lunch etc, and very little time is wasted. The terrain is similar, often at somewhat lower elevations, but incredible nonetheless.

With endless powder, a more economical price point, quaint lodges and cabins, cat-skiing and boarding has skyrocketed in popularity over recent years.
