Canada

English and French are the two offical languages in Canada, although except for in the province of Quebec, english predominates. In larger centres, tourist areas, banks and hotels, you often find multi-lingual staff.

USA (Alaska)

Although the US has no "official" language, English is the language most spoken. Spanish is the second-most spoken language.
