Canadream - Pricing & Details 2012

*Possible early pick-up (10am - 12pm) and/or late drop-off (until 3pm) for extra suplement of 375$Cdn plus taxes. Pick-up and drop-off also available on Sundays (in the morning only), paying an additional supplement of 375$Cdn plus taxes per Sunday.

Early booking before March 31, 2012 - choose 1 of the specials listed above (in the case of the one-way fee, discount of 50% versus free).
Run of Fleet Discounts - Canadream offers special rates for Run of Fleet 2 (ROF2) and Run of Fleet 3 (ROF3). If you book ROF2, at time of pick-up you will get either TC-A, DVC or SVC. For ROF3, your unit will be MH-B, MH-A or SVC. Basically you would not know the exact model until the day, however, for ROF2 it will be adequate for 2 adults, and for ROF3, it will be adequate for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Daily rates:

Canadream uses a "flex" pricing scheme such that daily rates vary depending on supply and demand by location and by date. The earlier you book the lower the rate will be. Once quoted, we can guarantee the rate for up to 5 days.

Basic motor vehicle insurance (liability)
0 km/day
VIP Insurance - Reduces deductible to a minimum $750 for collision and comprehensive (required deposit). Lower deductible of 350$Cdn for Windshield/glass damage. Does not cover personal contents, nor does it cover costs for accommodation, transportation or replacement of the vehicle if it is stolen or in an accident that makes the vehicle inoperable.
Vehicle preparation & Transfer fee - This includes transfers to and from the airport and airport area hotels (except Montreal, where an extra charge of 90$Cdn per transfer is charged), vehicle preparation (including first supply of propane and toilet chemicals).

All prices in $Cdn. 7 night minimum rental April - October (rest of year 5 nights). The drop-off day does not count as a day. Prices do not include applicable taxes (GST 5% in Calgary, Edmonton & Whitehorse, HST 12%in Vancouver & Kelowna, HST 13% in Toronto, HST 15% in Halifax, combined PST/GST 13.925% in Montreal).

Extras/Supplements

Kilometres - The km packages may be included with booking or at pick-up. There is no refund possible for unused kilometres. Upon returning the vehicle, extra kilometres are charged at 0.35 $Cdn/km plus taxes.

Block of 500 km - 165$Cdn plus tax
Block of 800 km - 250$Cdn plus tax
Unlimited kilometres - 1,375$Cdn plus tax for up to 21 days. Additional days: 63$Cdn/day plus tax.

Personal Kits (strongly recommended) - Sheets, blankets, towels, utensils, pots & pans etc. 80$Cdn/person + taxes.

Drop or One-way Fee - Applicable when vehicle picked up in one place and dropped off in another. 750$Cdn + taxes. No one-ways to/from Kelowna or Edmonton.

Northern Travel Surcharge - For rentals starting from Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal or Halifax with permission to travel on/in:

Alaska Highway north of Fort St. John, BC (prohibited: Dalton Highway north of Fairbanks, Denali Highway, and North Canol Highway in Yukon)
Cassiar Highway north of Kitwanga, BC
Highway 35 north of Peace River, Alberta
Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, & Newfoundland
Quebec & Labrador north and east of Sept-Iles

500$Cdn plus taxes. Insurance coverage is void in these areas and client will be responsible for any damage to vehicle. For rentals starting in Whitehorse, included in rate. Restrictions apply. Canadream reserves the right to revise restrictions up to and including on pick-up day.

Travel in USA surcharge - 10$Cdn per day in the US plus taxes. If not sure how many days you can call and advise before entering the US.

Additional drivers - 5$Cdn/day/driver + taxes

Travel Restrictions

Travel to Mexico is prohibited
Travel to Death Valley (California) between May 1 - Sept 30
Non-public roads and logging roads are off-limits.
If you plan to travel in Northen regions or USA, surcharges apply (see above).
Travel on Dalton Highway (north of Fairbanks), the Denali Highway in Alaska, and the North Canol Highway in the Yukon is not permitted.
