Rocky Mountaineer

The Rocky Mountaineer offers two-day, all daylight rail journeys through the stunning landscapes of British Columbia and the iconic scenery of the majestic Canadian Rockies. With four spectacular routes, guests relax and enjoy the renowned service and gourmet cuisine onboard.

The Rocky Mountaineer was named in National Geographic's Journeys of a Lifetime as one of the World's Greatest Trips and also voted by the Society of American Travel Writers as the Best Train Experience in the World.

These rail routes can be easily integrated and combined with hotel stays, vehicle rental, and/or guided trips, to complement and complete the experience. Just ask!

The routes:

• First Passage to the West: Vancouver to Banff/Calgary (or vice versa) 2 days
• Journey through the Clouds: Vancouver to Jasper (or vice versa) 2 days
• Rainforest to Goldrush: Whistler to Jasper (or vice versa) 2 days
• Whistler Sea to Sky Climb: Vancouver to Whistler (or vice versa) 3 hours

Onboard attendants provide friendly service and informative commentary of the regions through which the train travels. For 2-day trips, moderate accommodation in either Kamloops or Quesnel is included.

Rocky Mountaineer rail routes offer two or three choices of service for its two-day rail journeys:

Red Leaf Service

Provides guests with assigned, spacious, comfortable reclining seats, large picture windows, and chilled breakfast and lunch meal service served at your seat, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, in a nonsmoking, air-conditioned traditional rail coach environment. It is necessary to pack a small overnight bag for your stay in Kamloops or Quesnel. Your main luggage will be checked through to your final destination and will not be available.

Silver Leaf Service

Guests enjoy panoramic views through the oversized windows in the custom-designed, single-level dome coach, with 167% larger viewing area than RedLeaf Service. Delicious hot breakfast and lunch served at your seat with a choice of entrees. Complimentary wine or beer with lunch (all non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary). Service and commentary provided by two on-board attendants (in English). Also includes luggage delivery to/from your hotel in Kamloops.
Only available for specific dates on First Passage to the West and Journey through the Clouds.

Gold Leaf Service

Guests enjoy reserved seating in two-storey, glass domed coaches, featuring panoramic views on the upper level and an elegant private dining room on the main level, where specially prepared à la carte, gourmet, hot breakfasts and lunches are served. Onboard complimentary beverages and snacks. Service and commentary provided by on-board attendants (in English). Also provides luggage delivery to/from your hotel in Kamloops.
