What Type of Trip?

What type of trip is a personal choice which depends very much on the interests and desired comfort level of your group.

Guided Safaris - For those a little hesitant to travel on their own, who simply wish to avoid the driving, or to maximize on their time by taking advantage of the expert, local advice of a driver-guide, we offer small-group fully guided trips (safaris) in both summer & winter. In summer, the safaris are sightseeing and light adventure trips that offer a great introduction to the highlights of the Rockies, Western Canada, and Alaska/Yukon. In winter, the safaris are focussed on skiing and snowboarding visitin some of the best resorts throughout Western Canada, some with heli-ski & cat-ski components. With a guide able to show you the best and hidden stashes of each ski/snowboard area, you cannot go wrong! Avoid driving, save your knees and back for some exceptional skiing and riding. If already have a group formed, we are happy to customize private safaris as well.

RV Travel - offers an adventurous way to explore vastness of Western Canada & Alaska/Yukon, at your own pace without necessarily having a set itinerary. In the high season, however, some planning will be helpful as well as having certain campgrounds booked in advance. With RV travel, you can cook your own meals. Kids will love the freedom and spending so much time outdoors! This upcoming year we have a number of more fuel efficient vehicles available as well (book in advance!). Self-Guided Travel - If the thought of travelling in an RV fills you with dread, consider a self-guided trip with your own rental car and accommodation at select lodges, cabins, hotels that suit your taste and budget. We are happy to customize! We offer both winter and summer routes!

Stay & Explore or Ski & Stay - Perhaps you are looking for a more in-depth visit to a specific area, allowing you to truly experience another lifetsyle and culture. Whether in winter for skiing and riding in a specific area or resort or in summer for some sightseeing, hiking and rafting, fishing or relaxation, we can suggest the perfect base from which to take it all in.

Unique Experiences - In summer, multi-day kayak, rafting, hiking excursions, or backcountry lodge stays represent unique ways to truly get away from it all and soak up the natural surroundings. In winter, multi-day snowmobiling, dog-sledding and backcountry ski lodge stays, are also wonderful options and can be programmed into your trip. Just ask!
