Whistler
Home to Whistler and Blackcomb, two of the best ski mountains in North America, and a summer playground for outdoor enthusiasts, the Whistler area is paradise on a grand scale. Offering a combined
total of over 200 marked trails down the mountains, and 12 magnificent bowls, snowboarders and skiers delight in this snow coated heaven.
Not all winter activities, however, have to involve skis. Attempt shoeshoeing and discover how First Nations people walked across the snow hundreds of years ago. Bundle up the family and ride in a horse-drawn carriage complete with jingle bells! For something different, tour through the evergreen valleys in a traditional dog sled.
