Kicking Horse
Located in the town of Golden, Kicking Horse is situated in one of the most spectacular settings in the world. The resort sits in the Purcell range of the Canadian Rockies. Six National Parks surround the resort - Banff, Glacier, Kootenay, Yoho, Mt. Revelstoke and Jasper.
An exciting development of a former local ski hill, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort now boasts the second longest vertical in North America, leg-burning runs, with excellent snow and terrain for everyone, although somewhat more appropriate for intermediate to expert skiers in the alpine areas. Enjoy a delicious lunch with a view atop the mountain in the Eagle's Eye Restaurant.
