Big White

"It's the Snow!" is the motto at Big White Ski Resort. In a typical year, Mother Nature blesses Big White with over 700 centimetres of champagne powder. From immaculate cruising runs and alpine bowls to the world-famous "Snow Ghosts" (frosted trees caked with snow) Big White provides an exhilarating ski and snowboarding experience for beginners and experts alike with five powder bowls, 118 marked runs, and endless lines through the trees.

Big White is situated on the edge of the Monashee mountains, 56 km from Kelowna, the largest city in the Okanagan Valley. From the award-winning Kids Centre, the Village Centre Mall and the Happy Valley Adventure Centre, Big White is family-friendly. After the lifts close, there's shopping, dining, carnival night, skating parties, and Big White Idol. With space to accommodate over 17,000 guests, Big White is Canada's largest totally ski-in, ski-out village.
