How to get there

To visit Western Canada, you will more than likely start and/or finish your trip in Calgary or Vancouver. This will depend on your exact route and travel plans.

Calgary International Airport (YYC)

Tel: +1 (403) 735-1200
Web: www.calgaryairport.com

Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

Tel: +1 (604) 207-7077
Web: www.yvr.ca

Some travellers use Seattle (USA) as a gateway for travel in Western Canada as well. We are happy to arrange an additional night of accommodation in Seattle and the transfers to/from Vancouver but our Western Canada tours/trips officially start and finish in Canada.

From Europe:

There are direct flights to both Vancouver and Calgary from Frankfurt (Germany) and London (UK) with Air Canada/Lufthansa (www.aircanada.com) & British Airways/Iberia (www.ba.com).

For those coming from Spain, at this point in time, a connecting flight is required. Starting June 16 2008, there will be a Madrid-Toronto flight offered by Air Canada, which will result in less travel time overall. From Toronto, a 4 or 5.5 hour flight will take you to Calgary or Vancouver.

From Mexico:

There are direct flights from Mexico City to Vancouver, and now Calgary and Edmonton as well. Check Mexicana Airlines and Air Canada.

To get to Calgary, stopping over in the USA is another option, check Continental Airlines.
